A careful delivery inspection protects the part and creates a clear record. Large components should be checked before packaging is discarded or installation begins.

01

Plan the receiving location

Confirm that the delivery address can accept the shipment and has the space and equipment needed to unload it safely. Tell the parts team about access restrictions in advance.

02

Inspect before signing

Look for punctures, crushed corners, broken bands or shifting. Note visible damage with the carrier and photograph the packaging from several angles.

03

Preserve the record

Keep packaging, labels and delivery documents until the part has been compared with the order. Contact the parts team promptly if anything appears incorrect.
